Hailing from London's East End, owner Colin Heywood left his career
as an investment banker to come to the States, where in June 2000
he opened THE BATHROOM on Charles Street at Bleecker -- Manhattan's
trendiest shopping district. Heywood spends much of his time in
his Village shop and is currently planning for his second Manhattan
store.
